So when Playstation came and filmed in the neighborhood, they assigned this message to the marquee. When I saw the filming notices, I assumed it would be for an MLB video game, and I think this image will be used to prove that the game play will be so customizable that even your Cubs can win a World Series. Rude, but we get it. Hopefully I’ll be around to see them win one.

I am researching how the built environment of MLB stadiums affects the fan culture of the home team. I am also looking at the financial and political reasoning behind how, where and why stadiums are built as well as the affect on neighborhoods surrounding the park.
Currently reading “Community America: Who Owns Wrigley Field?” and Wrigley Regulars both by Holly Swyers.
I am also working on a documentation project focusing on drinking culture in Wrigleyville.
