These are some things I try to keep in mind as I work towards developing my personal style. If you find value in them, so much the better.

• Accept compliments generously.
• Encourage experimentation even when its results prove disastrous.
• Calling attention to others’ shortcomings does not improve how you look.
• Value opinions based on their source; value your own above all.
